There's a new FM for the Typhoon at
http://members.nbci.com/fs_pilots This is a major rework and has been tested against performance stats. Only a few minor tweaks may need to be made. The write up on this update is at the site.

Jug is this the 1 u gave me cos the tail wheel will not retract on the 1 i have got, but its alot better.IP: Logged |

Yes it's the same one- the Tailwheel not retracting has been an issue for a while and is a problem in the PP 6 Tiffy too.To everyone tha's tested this bird, this is the same file I sent you, just a public release. IP: Logged |

I know why the tailwheel doesn't retract, but i thought it wasn't suppost to. If it is suppose to retract then it's a simple fix.I take that back, look closer at the 3D model it's not designed for the wheel to retract. I get a CTD on loading of training mission in Patch 1.5.2.8, haven't tried it in 1.5 patch yet as I only use it online now.IP: Logged |

Hmmmm,You're the first person to report a CTD, and this was tested by several people for almost 3 weeks. I've flown all the training missions in both the patch and the 1.5 version and several missions with no problem. Try deleting your cache files or load the training mission in the mission editor and resave it. IP: Logged |

I've seen a couple other probelms with the patch and old missions. People thought they were planes but not so.I set up a test mission where the axis & allies fly the same plane against each other. If there's a damage bug or some other problem with the plane itself crashing the patch, it will show up in this test. The Tiffy checks out ok. IP: Logged |

I checked out the new plane. The radiator is a little better but hell, can weplease fix the nose and spinner?I fixed this over a year ago but never released it then lost it in a HD format. oh yea, it flys great. ------------------
