Thanks to an excellent 'fix' by Jedi the Seafire, Sea Hurricane and Sea Mosquito now work in the latest 'patch'. This allows them to use some of the new features, such as night operations.

Sea Mosquito TR 33 : Version 1.1 - Update Details:

*Aircraft now 'patch' compatible
*Updated damage model, now with bullet holes on wings and fuselage
*Modified FM to reduce divergent rolling and improve climb performance
*Added a yellow 'brakes on' light to the instrument panel (left hand side of the climb dial) This is activated when you press SHIFT + B and de-activated when you retract your tail hook after a carrier landing. You will need to add the following command to your keyboard.inp
cmdBrakesLocked = Shift B

*Rationalised a number of LOD's to improve frame rate
*Instrument dash texture updated courtesy of Yardstick
*Invisible struts now detach when wings are detached

Sea Mosquito TR 33 (752k) which includes eleven training missions; available at:
http://members.nbci.com/sdoe_mace/seamosq.zip

Or if you have version 1.0 of the Sea Mosquito TR 33 just down load the updated files (363k)

Hawker Sea Hurricane Mk I/II : Version 3.2 - Update Details:

*Aircraft now 'patch' compatible
*Rationalised a number of LOD's to improve frame rate

Sea Hurricane Mk I/II (736k) which includes seventeen training missions; available at:
http://members.nbci.com/sdoe_mace/seahurr.zip

Or if you have version 3.1 of the Sea Hurricane just down load the updated files (144k)

Supermarine Seafire Mk I : Version 2.5 - Update Details:

*Aircraft now 'patch' compatible
*Rationalised a number of LOD's to improve frame rate

Seafire Mk I (540k) which includes eleven training missions; available at:
http://members.nbci.com/sdoe_mace/seafire.zip

Or if you have version 2.4 of the Seafire just down load the updated files (185k)
http://members.nbci.com/sdoe_mace/seafireup.zip

HMS Ark Royal 'pitching deck' : Version 1.1 - Update Details:

*Switching distance for wake altered for night operations

HMS Ark Royal (231k); available at:
http://members.nbci.com/sdoe_mace/arkroyal.zip

Smoke On, Go! : Version 1.1 - Update Details:

*Add-on now 'patch' compatible
*Rationalised a number of LOD's to improve frame rate

With this simple add-on any SDOE aircraft can have 'airshow' smoke
trails. There are three types of smoke pods which attach to the
different styles of external weapons pylons, all you need to do is
modify the individual aircraft's loadout file using wordpad, etc.

Smoke On, Go! (4k); available at:
http://members.nbci.com/sdoe_mace/airshow.zip

Hawker Hurricane Mk I/II - Update Details:

*Switching distance for some LOD's changed
*A number of textures modified or re-assigned

Hurricane Mk I/II (594k) which includes ten training missions; available at:
http://members.nbci.com/sdoe_mace/hurr.zip

Or if you have version 1.2 of the Hurricane just down load the updated files (182k)

If I install these to my normal SDOE directories will they work properly there? This is one stop shopping for stuff I've been grossly negligent in exploring.

Werner all these files will work in the 'normal' SDOE media directories. In fact the only change made to them was to the 'airfoil' triggers which turned 'catapult' / RATO engines off, etc to make them 1.5.2.8 patch compatible.

However I've included a couple of night / sunrise training missions which will only work in the latter patches.

Mace, I just can not get Yardstick's gunsight reticules to work in 1.5.2.8. When I installed his gunsight pack a few weeks ago it took me hours and several emails to him to remove the correct files to get the default cross hairs back. With his installation and yours there is no crosshair. A dark blue crosshair texture shows for a few seconds and then nothing.

I only installed your new Hurricane folders. Is there any way to just remove the reticule changes without disturbing all your other changes? Or do I need to rip everything out?

Thanks

Easy fix Jerry, just go to your SDOE media folder then /aircraft/cockpit/Brit and make a COPY of GunSight3.sm on your desktop. Now rename it GunSight4.sm and put it back in /aircraft/cockpit/Brit This will replace the new gun sight and give you the one originally shipped with the sim.
