Hi fellas, I've spent two days combing the internet and I'm having a really hard time finding colour photos of the following:Ju 87G Spitfire Mk Vc (tropical one with the intake filter under the nose) Bf 109K Spitfire Mk I P39 Airacobra (I have on in VVS markings, I'd prefer one in US markings) You're probably wondering how on earth I can't find those spitfires, especially the MkI, but the trouble is either that they aren't in colour, or that I can't be certain they're Mark I and not a later mark because they're referred to only as a 'spitfire' and I'm not good enough at recognition to pick out specific marks. If you have anything in the list above, even if it has people in the picture (don't worry, I'll airbrush them out), would you please email me at keepinga@cadvision.com . Don't send the pictures right away (just let me know what you've got), I don't know if I should be expecting a trickle of emails or a whole flood. Thanks! I have a color shot of a line up of Spitfire VCs of 417 (RCAF) Sqn from 1943. Can't seem to link to the quick scan I did of it (damn ISP!), but I can always email it if you tell me what size and resolution you want.------------------ Be seeing you, 3dp Visit RAF Harkness! On the 109K and 87G pages, all the images come up with an X box . A 87G would be a huge help too, because it's the only one I'm missing now. I just got an email from a guy over at s**H* with everything but the 87. Thanks everyone, Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! IP: Logged |

Yes, I got a bunch from them. Did you know that Unsere Luftwaffe changed their name and url to LuftArchiv? (www.luftarchiv.de) Your link still works but their new site is fantastic, some really, really great stuff there. I'll double check on the 87G but I don't think they had one in colour, a photo at least.Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! IP: Logged |
