A while back, Rendsburger, with the help of the community, compiled a complete list of the WW2 aircraft in SDOE. I was wondering if people wouldn't mind checking the list over, and adding in aircraft and vehicles that are a)WW2, and b)Publicly available (including betas such as wil's Juef). Similar lists for WW1 and post WW2 might be a good idea, but please create them in separate threads. This list is intended just for ww2 a/c. Thanks!

Werner

The B-17E and B-24 are being worked on by tailgunner and are on hold.

D-520 is being worked on and is nearing beta release very soon.

A6M3 is being worked on though I already have a flying version which was very close to release till I figured out the wings was real crap and I was going to redo them again.

then Gustavo started one and mine was scraped.

I would include my two models: Ju 388-J and Lanc B Mk II; both are in Sim Files.

Razer: I am having problems with the textures of the A6M3, and now I am occupied in other things and I don't have too much interest in continuing him. For that doesn't continue with his that will surely be better than mine.

All this time I still can't believe no one has completed the He-111. It's such a nice looking bird and IL-2 has a gorgeous one. I know there's one floating around but I sure wish it'd find it's way to getting released.

Ok, here's the list with the stuff mentionned added in. One of the really nice things about Rend's list was that it had the proper way to write the designations for the a/c, their classification and their entry date as well. If you can fill in a blank in the list below, please do so!

Ok I've done a cursory clean up of the above, but there are lots of blanks to be filled. One thing that would be really helpful would be if someone who was really in the know could buzz through that list and asterisk anything not publicly available. Also, most of the a/c listed between my first post and this one didn't have any entry dates attached to them, and only a few had classifications. If someone wants to copy/paste the list into their reply and even fill in a few holes, if enough people do that we'll have a complete list again.

Having a current list of what's available in SDOE is really useful when we get newbies coming by. I would imagine DJH, er DWW would be interested in this for his site, since he has devoted significant focus to introducing newbies to SDOE.

Ok folks, have at 'er!

The ones I left out are ones that I'm almost certain are early betas and not publicly available, plus if either of those Japanese planes are being worked on by Razer, then with his departure from sdoe plane making they're as good as gone. If I've made a mistake and they are publicly available, then by all means add them in.

Actually Werner and everyone, only a fraction of those drivable vehicles I mentioned are available for the public right now, here's what is not yet available:

-Opel Blitz
-Hanomag
-Matilda
-Tiger II (not the one by Archy, I'm redoing another one)
-M16 Halftrack AAA
Pak 75mm (this one's still shaky, not sure if it'll make it)

So, for those wondering, the list just above are vehicles not yet available, they should be ready soon
