I feel frustrated, too to see how much trouble some people have to installed the Tundra/Smolensk terrain.

For the guys who have still trouble to get it working, please go back to the http://www.fightersquadron.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/004734.html topic and read carefully what you have to do.

There´s no need for frustration and sorry-begging! It´s great work and everybody knows how many hours of work you and your mates put into the realisation of Smolensk. And your baby works. So be proud of it.

Well I got it working just fine. I dont know why its so difficult...

Heres what I did:
-Downloaded the origonal Tundra (The one in the par file)
-Downloaded Smolensk
-Unpacked the parfile with the origonal Tundra and placed the Tundra files in the correct folders
-Unziped Smolensk to the correct directory and then moved the MissionEditor.ppf file into the Missionseditor folder

Then all worked well!

P.S. Make sure you do NOT install the par file with the Tundra terrain in it! It will overwrite the plane pack... Unpack the Tundra terrain from the par file and place only the needed Tundra files in the correct folders.

I know exactly how you feel Ren, try not to let it get you down (I know it does though), it's great work and appreciated by all, if people have problems instaling it then yes it's frustrating knowing they are having trouble, but don't forget, they are so glad to have it to start with

Any problem with Smolensk, works fantastic. What one is not able to is to place the airplanes in the airports in the edition of missions; this is this way or it will be modified then?

Never heart-stricken Rendsburger, be always proud of its works. Danke

I am able to place aircraft on airfields. What prevents you from doing so?

Rends, I DL'd your terrain just after you posted it and it has worked fine for me.

I like the terrain and all the airfields you added to it.

I had unbigged the Tundra parfile and put the folders in FSDOE and simply added your files.

Great work, thank you very much for your fine work.
