I have been having fun in the single player game. I still have problems landing and taking off.

My concern is with the Network. I choose Internet option and I get the list (around 12 or them) of sites with pings. However when I click on one it only list 2 games of 30 players max. However, no one is in any of them (even the UK, German, San Francisco, etc…) Where is everyone playing FSSDOE?

One other question, is there a web site that teaches how to properly make missions for the game with the editor? The manuel that came with the game is not very good and I am having trouble making things act the way I want them to act.

Doc; The California12 server is still the most used. Your best bet is Tailslide's Beeper utility or checking his server list.....http://tailslide.firelight.dynip.com to check these out. Da Jug Head has a great information site...sorry, I don't have the URL handy but it is listed here several times.

If you get to a lobby at California12 ( Aces Den or Fighter Squadron lobby ) and the server showed a game, don't be discouraged if you see no one there when you arrive. If a game is in progress, it won't show in the lobby once it is launched. You may have to wait a bit before pilots begin returning from the game in progress. If a game does show, then you can click on it and click 'Join' ...if it is not locked and not full, this will take you to the game lobby screen, where anyone will be glad to guide you from there.

As to mission making....Spanky had a great tutorial posted at Combatsim a while back, but now that site is pay; I don't know if it is available elsewhere. There are other documents and help files located here...someone should be able to help you locate them. Hope some of this helps.

Good luck, and hope to see ya online..

Thanks for the replies. I went to the Cal12 around 9:45pm EST. Two people there helped me with some downloads that I needed to be able to play. I hope to be able to be online soon.

Again, thank you two for your help.
