The P-61 was the largest fighter in WWII and served in many areas. This monster featured speed, manuevrability and more firepower than any flock of FW's could handle.This plane is just damn cool. It has several neat features that could be modeled in SDOE. The P-61 was mainly used for night fighting and came in your basic black but there are
many examples of olive drab models. Some featured invasion stripes. Tons of neat nose art and details are available. This is a big project and I am looking for help on this one. A team would be nice. lil b i have about 10 schemes that can be done since i was going to be my project till Stormbirds died then i figured someone might like to import the model to SDOE. I has planed for 2 schemes, one black and one olive since those where the only colors used in combat and used in both PAC an EURO theaters.let me know if you want the info on the schemes. I would also like to point out that the model is around 2300 polys which is way to many for SDOE to handle but might just be a place holder for a lower count model or many many lower LODs.
