Is it possible to have the engine cut out when inverted for those aircraft that are not injected this would add realism.I am not sure which ones this would apply to, mostly WW1 machines I think as nearly all WW2 would be injected.Just a thought.

this would certainly apply to the spitfires, they had to invert to dive otherwise the engine would cut out because they were fed from a carb and the negative G's would stop fuel flowing through. As to it being possible... I'll say I don't think so, because if I say it can't be done someone will do it lol

Actually they fixed this in the later versions, from the Mk.V on I think. They basically made some changes to the carb feed to keep a small amount of fuel locally so it could go for a few seconds - which makes all the difference.

IIRC it was called Mrs. something-or-other's oriface. There was a discussion on RAM about it recently.

Taht would be cool unless it's you in the Spit trying to fly inverted and suddenly your engine just stopped. Mind you, you should know better.
