You can now download all critical SDOE files off of the Wings with Wires server. This page also shows the basic install sequence and where to find SDOE, etc.

Actually, looks like you got it all. Sure there is lots more, but nothing critical that one cannot live without. Those are what is needed to fly....the rest is just if ya wanna, and basically serves to muck up things rather than help.....sorta like putting Brittany Spears in a bikini. Perfectly serviceable in sweater and jeans - put her in a bikini, while it is a breathtaking improvement, it tends to complicate things. (Insert any person of your choice...personally, I could name about a dozen without thinking hard.)

I've always read here that it's important to run the game once before installing the 1.5 patch. Is this true, and if it is, shouldn't it be added to the Wings With Wires sequence?

Sv, if you dont run the game before you install the 1.5 patch, some files dont get created and used and SDOE goes BOOM! But seriously... you need to run the game once before you install the 1.5 patch or it wont work correctly.

hmmmm on my first comp the cd drive didnt load the game of the disc properly so it didnt work until i installed the patch could this be y the game was seriously messed up?
