Mace, we already have a command to lock brakes on using the Shift B, it is an original command in the Keyboard inp, you could tie your light dof to the same command

inpToggleBrakes = Shift B : 0

This locks brakes on

Thanks for the feed back Nat. I could not find in the tech section a way of passing an inp command into the cmd format of a DOF. So this additional cmd command was needed to toggle the DOF. This does not affect the inpToggleBrakes command but I would like to hear from anyone that has successfully used an inp command in a non related DOF (other engine, flaps, etc)

cheers mace

Great work mace. I think you are ok with the keyboard command. It seems that inpCommands and cmdCommands are different and can coexist. I have done this before. Dirk uses

cmdInsult = A

and the game uses

inpMasterWeaponsArm = A

As long as you don't have two inpCommands using the same key or two cmdCommands using the same key you should be ok.

Nat, good eye for catching this, I thought the same thing at first.
