Thank you Vahnatai, but Da Jug Head was faster!!!
Btw, while we wait 4 the picture I could tell you some more about that P51...
It's a post war gift of the USA (he probably saw combat somewhere, gotta discover where tho...), after the 50s it was used by a colonel as his personal plane (lucky bastard!!!), finally it was donated to the Italian Air Force Museum, right now she's there, waiting for restoration (whish I could buy her! They want $ 850.000!!!:eek ...
There are other beauties in that museum, liek the Mc200, 202 and 205! There's even a pair of Alfa Romeo's engines!!!!
Then there's a Spitfire Mk.IX ( I guess...) with italian insignas who was restored by a rich businnessman who flew it for fun, until one day, while he was taking off, the Merlin had a loss of power and he finally made it to the ground safely, but the man was so scared that decided to give it to the museum... the spit doesn't forgive!!!
Btw, there are such beautiful planes w/ beautiful stories in there...

li'l b

P.S.
Who of you have a pic of himself w/ a real Me109E,b17,He111,Spitfire,A10 and soooo on?
Guess we should start this kinda contest

OK....I'll play!

These were taken at the Wings of Eagles airshow at the National Warplane Museum in Elmira, NY last September. It was a cool, rainy day so the fighters weren't flying. I was pretty bummed because I was looking forward to hearing that Jug scream by me in the air.

The first is with my father-in-law. I have him hooked on these planes too!

The next is in front of my favorite Mustang-- it is at the show every year!

Lastly- this is one for my buddy Jaguar. Isn't this a pretty blue plane, Jag? Doesn't it make you want to model it?

Did I mention that they have a PBY in the museum, Snick?

I have some pics in front of a He-111 and the B-17 "Sentimental Journey" as well, but my wife would string me up by my manhood if I posted them here, as she is not happy with how she looks in them.

My ISP won't let me link directly to images, but if anyone really wants to see what I look like, go here. I happen to be holding my two year old son in the second photo over in both of the first two rows.

I'm afraid I'm not in front of any aircraft, but in one, I'm wearing a "Last Flight Out" t-shirt I got in Key West, and in the other, although it's not readable, the patch on my right jacket sleeve is a Dambusters 50th Anniversary one.
