The longest delayed planepack in SDOE history. Where is it?

Actually I'm wondering the same thing. I'm still bothered by a couple of things. In particular I'm waiting for an updated B17 that supposedly fixes some CTD problems. I was going to ask Tailgunner where he stands on it today - so I guess he can answer here if he wants.

I'm also not sure what P51D is going in - Raider had released a fixed version that works in the beta-patch release - I'd like to include that if it's the popular choice.

I have to apologize to everyone anticipating this release - I haven't exactly been pursuing these issues and if people don't know what's wrong it's hard to fix. Once these issues are settled I'll release a final (hopefully) beta.

There are other known bugs for several planes that Bryan noted on the wingswithwires forum - I've posted them on the forum in the tech section but I don't think anyone came forward volunteering to fix them - so they will likely remain.

Spin, send the Ju88g7b sm file my way and I will try to fix it for the Patch. I vote for including the patch fix P51D.

Spin, maybe a decision should be made regarding holding up the PlanePak for patch fixes. Although I am personally testing the patch, most people aren't...especially online, which is the focus of and reason for the PlanePak.

A lot of planes have graphic problems with the patch and waiting for fixes to these will hold up the PlanePak indefinitely. IMO the PlanePak release date should be based on the condition of the PlanePak as it stands alone with 1.5, regardless of how is plays with the patch.

The patch is a beta and is going to require a lot of testing and tweaks. It should be treated as a stand alone project. As patch fixes and plane fixes take place then they can be incorporated into subsequent PlanePaks, after thorough testing.

Just my 2 cents.

Hmmm. If it's gonna be "two weeks" I can probably update the Corsairs and get em in.

Haven't heard any bad reports about the beta version that's out, so I guess it's "safe" for me to start porting the changes to the other versions.

Commando, I've sent the ju88g7b to your email address.

Jedi, 2 weeks is probably worth the wait. If anyone doesn't want to wait for Jedi to port over his updates speak now or forever hold your peace.

Don't hold off on a plane just becuase I say there are some problems. I could probably run just about every user created plane through the debugger and find something wrong...
