I had a conversation with Commando (guru of midi) and we agreed that user created sounds can be FR hogs. Therefore the new sounds that Casualty and I worked on will be modified from their present format @ PCM,22050Hz 16 bit to PCM,22050Hz 8 bit. For an example the 20mmCannon.wav is currently at 81776 bytes and if you add all the sound files, well it's bigger. When I upgrade the 20mm files to 8 bit they are reduced to 40888 bytes. I tested a few of these files and there is little or no difference from 16 bit to 8 bit as far as quality, at least I can't here it, did I tell ya I'm deaf and dumb. Anyway I (and Cas) feel that this move will free up some space for future efforts that we are currently working on. The files will be posted at the www.26th-aircorps.org as always, but wait till ya hear from me and I'll tell you when I have revised those files. I still have to get with Barcat and convince him to pull the 16 bit's off the site, you can wait! Thanks guys and I know this will improve SDOE for all that play here.

I mising little to fly with you on SDOE but i get to much problem with some hardwareconflicts - i had it on my old puter and now on my new one... when flying SDOE. I hope it works little better when i get a new connection (iīm waiting and waiting and...w..)because i think itīs my modem conflicting with joystic or Grapichcards..

But i have so much learning also about some other site stuff so i have occupation for a while. I also waiting on IL2.

Until we meet in the air do i wish you to have fun in the skiees ...

- in my language all had seen i was proud of booth Psi and Casualty ! and i was talking about them booth ! in the sentense above...

But in english "you" isnīt like in my language....

Swedish is more like "Klingon language" (in Star Trek)

- sounds like it more also maybe ... hftfft kluppt (not any word there...hehe)

In fact we have more words for adressing persons before we speek to them - and also when we speek about them in 3 person.

In swedish above i should have used the word "ni" (you) then all swedish persons had understood i talked about two or more persons.

If i used the word "Ni" (you) it could have been a polite adressing singularis or pluralis. In the context everyone had presumed it was two persons because it had been most polite.

BUT "Ni" can also be used when i talk to someone - and if its a older person - he or she maybe was thinking iīm polite to him... BUT it can also be a adressing making he or she isnīt my equal. It depends...

If i had used the word "du" in example above it should have been clear to a swedish person - i was talking about Casualty only.

If i had used the word "Du" it had been a polite adressing....But some older had thinking i was impolite. A lot of persons who get adressed by "Ni" and think itīs impolite because itīs shows some distance. They would like to hear "Du" because it shows respect - no distance.

If i have higher rank in the army it should be impolite to adressing me with "du" in speaking and "Du" in writing. But less impolite if i used "Du" (as general rule.. and if you are unsure during all circumstances in army or as civilian ... use "Du").It should be "Ni" as rule as most. But it depends on what kind of person the higher ranked officer is. He could think you making some distance if you using "ni" in speaking or "Ni" in writing and it is because you think you have higher social rank. But during in some cases you must also write "du" for showing you are like brothers.

There maybe are some more about this.... also but you was intrested in swedish girls ? Wasnīt you ?

Well... you see you probably havenīt any chance against me.... but if you try i will give you this tips.

I hear often some form other countries learned some swedish like

- Hej du vackra svenska flicka ! Hello you beautiful swedish girl ! They have seen to mush "swedish films" and are really out in a bad mess....

They are in fact telling the girl they maybe admiring her beautiness - but are not intrested to get closer... they are telling her - she is on some distance... bad start....bad luck ... some laughting and some eyes but you donīt get any trust in them. You also tell her you think she is a "bad girl" easy to get into bed with. Then you have lost als chances .. didnīt you know that ? To bad for you !!!

If you must say something stupid like that above - say only Hello beautiful girl.... or "Hej vackra flicka ! or better Hello beautiful lady ! Hej vackra Dam ! then you tell her you think she is beutiful but also shows her respect - but not taking any distance from her....

and if you then also have some luck !

BUT - there are someting else - most in other countries also donīt understand except in the Scandinavian countries. There are a tradition of strong women since wikings in sweden. The women have always choosen their own men and also knows they are proud and beutiful and can compete with any man. That is often missunderstood - and mixed up with the "sexual liberation" who lot of men in other countries thinks is connected with Scandinavian girls. They only forget their own behaviour - symbolizing the strengthness, proudness, independence and manhood they think they have. If they donīt can get a swedish girl intrested .. i think they must practising little more...

If you officer and pilot have any luck ...PLEASE TELL US other pilots - exhausted after all these fights - so we also have something to our dreams....

I did some testing with the "less hogy" sounds and there is a defined improvment to the textures. I had block shaped clouds with all the other larger files and n0w I have what I use to have, soft fluffy white puffs of clouds and better FR's. Just an FYI, I'm very happy with the outcome. Hurry up cas, but don't run...

To all of "Er". or in swedish - "Till Er alla"

I guess i shouldnīt continue with trying to learning all of you ("Er") swedish but - now you understand why i canīt english....

Ohhh .. i nearly forgot tho old swedish word still used in the Bible. You use the letter "I" as you use "Ni" .. or in Swedish "Till I alla...skulle jag vilja berätta.." in english "To you all i would like to tell..." itīs adressed to several persons. I think itīs possible to use that word booth in singlularis an pluralis.

...every child in Sweden learn little english in school ...but i had hard times. My teacher asked me once (i had learned english a couple of years and was around 13 - 14 yars old)- to pronounce 33 in english. BUT i had a hole package of shewing gum in my mouth- SO i pressed all that shewing gum on the top of my mouth with my tounge and said -"trullleetroulle"!

My teacher looked at me and asked - What did you say ? ..... and i said again -"trullleetroulle" !

My teacher looked strange at me and asked again - What ? and after the third time no one was sitting calm on his chair in the class.... not even my teacher.....sniff !

So when Fast asked me sometimes "Are you sure you use right language on roger wilco ......sniff, sniff....

But if we then are talking about inflecting verbs ands substantive and so - we have no rules in swedish att all like you have in english or in german...
