Now I know why SDOE lost its funfactor!! I was to busy building planes and trying to impress people! Not any more, I reinstalled and flew the 163 that Argon worked on (bless you ) and I...... enjoyed it! SDOE feels like a new game now! No more planebuilding for me!! Hot dog!

You actually DELETED SDOE? Shame shame shame...

See one needs to take a break every once in a while. Thats why I just have small long-spanned projects going. I fly AND build/tweak planes. Most people just do one or the other.

I fear for Wakeup Tailgunner tho... Look how many bloody projects he has!! The good news is he mainly just builds them, instead of putting them together which I hear is easier and less stressful. (I need to get into the plane building buisness but I havent had the balls to learn AC3d YET)

P.S. Hey no problemo about the Komet. I really love the aicraft and felt it deserved an updating. Ive done some small work on the Barracude aswell in my spare time.

I know what you mean Aladar, I actually haven't flown SDOE in anything other than testing something for about 6 months now, but I've had bugs in my work I've felt that I really need to fix, my recent work seems to imply I've fixed the bug now (thank christ at last!) so I'm thinking once I've finished off the La7, then retrofitted the La5FN and IL2, I'll put some time aside for pleasuer flying lol

Really though, I know just what you mean

Thats why I am building planes, mainly to fly them!

I will work a little than take it up and play than back to work, on and on. The flying is the icing on the building cake.

fear not for the tailgunner....if you look closely at that post, there are no timescales!!!!!!

No deadline...no pressure!

Oh, yes...building planes is easy...trouble is, those assembly types can be so picky
You build them a perfectly good model, and then they want more detail.....

on a more serious note though....at least half of the stuff on that list is going to be done in a matter of weeks. Then it starts to look a lot more sensible.
