~S~ all,

I finally got my FS CD in the mail and will install tonight after work. Also down loading The Patch, Nations, and Plane Pack before I go home (CD burners are great).

I've flown CFS1 and CFS2 only, so not much experience in different Flight sims. But like the looks of this one. I'm a P51 pilot in CFS1 and a fly the Corsair/P38 in CFS2. I hope the P38 flys better in this one than it does in CFS2.

Noticed people having problems with MS joysticks. I've a MS Sidewinder Precision Pro that I started with in CFS1. Any suggestions on avoiding problems with this stick would be helpful. And anything else to help me.

I've been reading this board for about a week now and I've got the sites listed to visit and all.

cya all in the skys, just not on my six please!

Dart, Welcome aboard!

For your stick, to avoid problems go to The Stickworks at http://home.att.net/~stickworks/
Go to the FILES page and download CTFJV320.zip
This will allow you to calibrate your stick to work well with SDOE

Also, download the Rolling Thunder v1.0 soundpack from simfiles.com. It REALLY makes the sounds in SDOE better and has it's own installer to make it easy.

you also seem to have picked some planes that have all been seriously improved lately!

The P38 is being re-worked a lot....and there are a few extras in store for it

Also, the Corsair, a user built add-on, has been kitted out with some new stuff recently too. It's good!!!!

anyway....welcome aboard!!!!
