Maybe this post should take place in the
Tech Talk thread...
I've installed twice SDOE. One installation is for the standard game, one other is for the nice and fun alpha/beta/tests add-ons that all of you provide regularly.
But two installations mean two sets of texture files, which increase at each time, as soon as a new theater is loaded, and logically, decreasing my hard disk size.
So my question is: is it possible to make a link (with the SDEMONS.ini?) from a folder to another where one SDOE texture file is. This to allow to have only one texture file for two installations?
Is it understandable?

The easiest thing to do is just create 2 aircraft folders and rename the one you want to use as and when you needed it.

Arrow, no you can't, the only way this could be done is by editing the Sm file itself to point the texture's at exactly the right folder, otherwise it looks in the file structure within it's own folder/s, so even a change in the ini wouldn't help, it's SM based

Well, I was talking about the sdoecache.tex file, but I guess it's the same way...
Thanks to have answered.
