Unless I missed something, casualty has already done 2 skins, they're at the 26th air corps site. Here's one: ] ------------------ "Where'd he GO!?!?" thunk-thunk-thunk-zing-OUCH That answered my question [This message has been edited by Da Jug head (edited 03-05-2001).] [This message has been edited by Da Jug head (edited 03-05-2001).] IP: Logged |

Will these planes have the "Breakaway" damage mods like the F4U-1A and LA-7? Is this a new standard for model building?IP: Logged |

Snickers, if you send me some good references of the scheme you'd most like to see, I'll give it a try. I have to finish the LOU IV 51, a 47 I been doing, and was going to try and send Jedi a touched up version of the Boyington Skin if I'm not too late. May be a while but I'd give it my best. Send to casualty@26th-aircorps.orgIP: Logged |

I am not sure what you are referring to by "break away damage mods"... The F and L versions have the restructured tail (HEY Razer, did it also get into the J? Or am I sitting on it ....) To let you know what its like, I was up in a test pilot mission in the L, pulled a very severe maneuver at high speed, and ripped off the LH VStab. Everything else was in place though... Beta1 has gone to my test pilots, so hopefully I will get some data back soon.... Snickers =FC=IP: Logged |

I've got a simple skin question: is there a site--or does someone have--stock skin templates for all (or most) SDOE aircraft? I mean templates that only have rivet/panel markings/lines, and no country/squad markings; no camo, no paint. I find myself working my butt off trying to remove camoflage, squad, and country markings. Somebody out there (in here? hehe) has got to have done this before. Note: I paint crates for my squad in our squad colors (also in other "fun" schemes), so historically correct schemes are not on my agenda... there are plenty of folks here who paint beautifully historically correct planes; why would you guys need another? (insert sheepish grin here) Any help will be appreciated! ------------------ Fly Well, Dub Visit the Wing Walkers IP: Logged |

Dubya - Go to www.fightersquadron.com and click on hosted sites, then War Paint Factory. Bring your machete to clear out the cobwebs and you will find the most complete collection of templates available. Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! IP: Logged |

Your sitting on it snickers. To get the J model you might as well just delete the gunpods on the L and rename to J. That would be the easiest thing to do. It's what i did for the P-38F. Though i changed the FM a bit. [This message has been edited by Razer (edited 03-07-2001).] IP: Logged |
