I was playing around with the N1K2 tonight and figured i'd take a few pics to show off the plane in action in a mission i created. (NOTE: is also shows off a new P40 scheme i did.) 
The P40's didn't last very long and since I was in the P-38F group we couldn't get to the battle in time to save them.
In the end it was down to 2 zeros and 1 N1K2 and me in my lone P-38. I managed to get some good moves on the N1K2 and one of the zeros to take them both out. The final Zero turned for home when I downed the N1K2. When I turned to go after the final Zero I lost my left engine so I too turned for home. Looks like we two will live to fight another day.
It was a great mission, and I don't normally like offline play.
All this is great with the post that Jedi has the Dauntless finally looking great.
