In PP6. the vehicles folder is 10MB big and i have another 8MB groundobjects installed. Now i think itīs time for a separate groundpack. Then whe have a very smaller PP and updating of the PP and the GP is easier.

Sounds like a winner to me.
That way, if you have a SLOW 56k, like me,
you can choose downloads of each at a later
time. I agree 157.535%...

Great idea !
Could we include the ground pack into the on-line standard so we would know exactly which ground objects to use in on-line missions ?

Well,
The reason we have included all the ground objects in the plane pack was so that everyone would have them for missions. Othwise when you make a great anti-shipping mission, only those with the ground objects downloaded will see them. Or worse, you CTD on the missing items.
I say, leave the required G/O's and have the GP for the additional objects like the drivable tanks and the like..... I would be hard pressed to what would go and what would stay..... but there is a method to the madness including the ground objects in the PP's.

Hehe pretty soon we're gonna have an AlliedPack, an AxisPack, a GroundPack, and a PackPack

All of which are good ideas IMO.

i canīt agree.Look what you need for online play:SDOE + 1.5Patch + PP6 + Nations2.
Now itīs not the problem to say you need a Groundpack too.

But whe have to ask Spin, the man behind the Planepack, what he think about that!
