Topic: (Do17) Question concerning the 'Bombing the Reich' campaign

Well there's much talking about the Do17 in this forum (problems, etc.etc,)
I wanna clarify that I've never (NEVER) had any problems with this plane and I think it's once again a wonderful add-on to SDOE.
But reading all this post here I wonder if I should add it to the campaign???
Any comments out there?This would make the bombing-campaign a lot more historic, because the do17 was often used in a nightfighter role at the beginning of the battle. Please let me know!! (I've to re-write a couple of missions, if the answer would be NO)

The only problem I had was due to my stick. the rudder didn't center and I circled into the planes witing to takeoff- Ramming Speed-I think you should put it in too. As Tailslide updates the aircraft, it'll just make everyting better. ------------------

I did, but Tailslide told me what to do, installed the Beta 5 and it works like a train. By all means put it in. It' s really well done. Except, of course, the friggin gunners are too good and keep hurting my aircraft. Mind you, they're too good in allthe bombers. If the AI would just learn how to actually fly.....IP: Logged |

The only "problem" I had is that I have the older beta3 version. I haven't been able to get beta5 yet (the link on TS's page is "broken" as far as IE is concerned). The other issue is that I think the bomb loads might be wrong, but I can't be sure of that. Maury IP: Logged |

I wouldn't say harassed, I wound up with pages and pages of things to update on it and barely enough time in the day to reply to the messages about it. I was hoping to use it as a bomber in my offline BoB missions but I got about two missions written and spent the rest of the time answering messages. TS ------------------
