Well once again a couple of infos about this upcoming add-on ...just to make your mouth..well you know FEATURES ********
Missions -------- 30 missions! Now let me spent a couple of seconds about this issue...I'm little bit excited about the missions. They're covering every aspect of the 'night-raids' flown by the RAF during WWII. Like 'dambusting', pathfinder-missions, big bomber streams (well you need a good pc out there), recon-missions during daylight, bombing ships in harbor, duel missions (like lanc against bf110), big raids involving mosi pathfinders and manchesters and lancs, beaufighters protecting the landing bombers from german attacks (this was a well known problem during the night-raids), single seatet german fighters in night fights ('wilde sau' tactic), scramble missions for the german airplanes....ahhhh and lots more don't remember every detail ...sorry. The missions are not historical based they're only based on the aspects of the night bombing. Another point: Now in every mission (uhhh not every 2-3 missions are special..you'll see) you can hit Shift+F6 lay back, grab a beer and whatch the movie! Another thing (can't finish..sorry): EVERY mission has a full briefing. The briefing includes the mission details PLUS some historical backgrounds. Briefings for the german night-fighters are writen in german AND in english (little bit of international touch here). Objects ------- For this missions you'll need the 'Mission builder pack' from Rendsburger (thx btw). - The BF110G4 (night-fighter)..hope will be finished soon - The Lanc MKIII 'Pathfinder' - The Mosi PR.IX - The Manc MKI.A - The Lanc 'dambuster' - Beta Release for SDOE (otherwise NO night) - PP.6.0 - ALL Beaufighters - and a couple of more things .... Now the following things are NOT needed for the missions (but are nice anyway.. ) - EVERY Bomber Command Squadron (thx 3dp) - New speeches (on GUI section) - New GUI add-ons - Loader screens (yes even more now!) - SKINS SKINS SKINS WISHES ******
I know this IS dangerous, but hey everyone has wishes Planes ------ - Wellington - Styrling - Me 262 B (YES a ME262 night-fighter) - ME 410 Objects ------- - A nice 8.8 Flak - Already burning houses (for recon flights) ...thanks for your patience gt ps: sorry about this unstructured topic, but I'm in a hurry (think you get the point anyway) ------------------ GT's HANGAR IP: Logged |

gt, burning houses are no problem to create.Wait a little bit and i send the stuff to you.The only thing for you to do is to put the houses into the cities. German 8,8 ,hmm maybe next weekend, but i can´t make a promise. One question, what are the pathfinder lancs doing. Do they drop burning bombs over the flightpath? If so, do you have some?If not i can create a 'lightbomb'.It didn´t burn but it can work as light. It´s the same way of creating like the searchlight,i can add a light texture to a single bomb.Rendsburger IP: Logged |

hi rendsburgernow this is getting bigger and bigger... Ok step by step: - Burning houses ...OK I'll wait - Flak8.8 ...OK I'll wait - Burning bomb (big questionmark here) Do you mean 'marker-bombs' (orange, red, green, etc)? If yes, well we already have those. The problem is: I CAN'T USE THEM!! The AI won't drop them (strange but true). If you mean 'christbäume', well this would be great, but be shure to test them first with the AI GREAT NEW!
thx a lot! PS: Forgot to mention....of course this Add-On will receive a install.exe with a wizard...hehehe gt ------------------ GT's HANGAR IP: Logged |

gt, do you need burning houses for day or night missions? I ask this because it is no problem to create a burning and smoking house. The problem is,that you can see the fire only at a very low distance. Are the 'Christbäume' the bombs to mark the targetarea? If yes, then yes :-) Rendsburger IP: Logged |

Rendsburger here's what I mean..Marker bombs we already have: ...and here's what I mean these where called by the germans 'christbäume'..bright shining bombs ..like christams-trees
starfire: GREAT! but I'm more looking for speeches about the bombing campaign of the RAF (like from A.Harris, or W.Churchill). What I have at the moment is the live recording of a bomber crew over berlin (very frightening!!)

Hello gt: I am working with the new Lancaster MK II with engines Bristol Hercules; I have advanced a lot, and I think that it will be finished soon. I would like you to include it in your missions. It would be also good that you added in some mission to the BV-155. It continues ahead with the work, I believe that it will be very good. IP: Logged |

AhhhlllRightyThen! You mentioned the Lanc "Dam Busters." Are you refering only to the specific Lanc model, or are these Lancasters actually equiped with the flood-lights that act as altitude markers, the backward-spinning depth charged cylinder bombs, and the simple--yet effective--distance meassuring device that looked much like a slingshot; the one that when the vertical posts overlapped the electrical poles on each end of the dam, told the bombardier the precise moment to release? ------------------ Fly Well, Dub Visit the Wing Walkers IP: Logged |
