I was putzing around in the Ju 188 yesterday and I noticed a problem. The lower gun(s) appear to be hanging in space behind the plane.

Looking at this plane you really get the feeling of how out of control the RLM was. They put this turret on top with ONE gun in it, and then leave the other gun right below it! German bomber designers couldn't design a defensive suite if their lives depended on it - and it did.
