Hey guys, just finished version 2 of the Citroen 7CV originally a ground object by Pachy. I really wish I'd released this version the first time 'round but it's here now. There's just so many improvements, 19 to be exact, I'll just list the most important ones below:- Re-positioned "pilot". - Speed limiter added to keep car's engine from pulling it faster than 80km/h (50mph) after which SDOE disables the steering. - Added a Reverse gear, thanks to Archy for offering his work as an example that also doubles as a hill descent control. - Suspension added. - "Invisible" propellor will not bend anymore when the front of the car is struck. - Increased weight from 1500 to 2800 pounds. - Re-adjusted centre of gravity boxes (CG Boxes) to proper locations on car. Handling is MUCH improved. - Vehicle will not tip over so much because of the two above points. - Rubber material for tyres. - Vehicle goes straight when steering is centred. - Car sits lower on its wheels to aid handling. And SO much more such as wipers, temp gauges, horn, new quickviews, freer engine and more. I don't really know Condor, I wouldn't mind if it went in any of them however this wouldn't really be considered a plane, however someone posted recently (cant remember who sorry) that they would like it in the PP6.1 so yes, the PP looks the go for this for now.------------------ Visit FS:SDOE Online IP: Logged |

Man you are a genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one seems to realize what a huge development this is. Any thougts on an english car? Also, it seems to me that a train is now possible, no! Just drive it, like the citroen!!! I think someone already designed some tracks. If they are placed in a fairly strait section of the terrain, you could keep it an coure fairly easily. That might be hard for Dover and Rhineland but easy for Africa. Also, you don't have to be bored driving the train, what if you could F7 to a serious AA car and blast away at your online friends flying a strafe mission. Supply Trucks, Jeeps, Halftracks??? All with guns hey could be in a covoy mission Anyways nice work

Thanks Sturm!As for other vehicles, I had the jeep and the halftrack in mind for my next projects if I get the time to try them. by the way, I made it out of the town with out getting blasted by those JU88s, and I didn't take the bridge out its easier, making a left and heading right along the beach as soon as you clear this small hill your safe!7./JG3 Sturm Spieler IP: Logged |

Fantastic work. The sensation of driving is now much better than many car racing simulations  Just a small glitch: the front bumper should be about 15 cm ahead of the radiator. But sorry I'm nitpicking, it's very cool! IP: Logged |

i have idea that i got from an earlier post...in the passenger seat..y dont u add another passenger...make a turret that allows they passenger to make a "drive by shooting" or something of the sort...IP: Logged |

Sturm, alternative way out the town? That's cool. Just tried it myself, you can *just* see the smoke rising up from the town after the bombs hit, over the ridge as you look back....Condor, time delayed bombs, there's an idea! I was thinking of a way to make the Citroen more destruction, this could be a way. Thanks Pachy, I have a copy of Need For Speed III for sale...anyone?? The front bumper can be fixed very easily, maybe in an update soon... And about the drive by shooting idea, I may be able to add a pistol or something to the driver, and then you could choose it in the loadout in the mission editor along with the time-delayed hand bomb. Hey whats the drivers name? Dirk, Kirk, and...Hey, can you give the driver the same pilot loadout as the sopwith pup? eg. Hand guns, Drop bombs, Curse, ect...? IP: Logged |
