New Things

Intakes have been set to black to stand out better. Radiators on the tail have been moved to the right spot and are now 3D. I also added radio antennas from the cockpit to the tail. Cockpit can now be painted on the outside to make the scheme.

I also touched up the cockpit when i saw that non of the gauges work. (was i the only one to se this or was it just passed off as a beta bug? )

Spins getting the new files and we should see some great things in the new pack.

I have also been working ont he FM for the P-39 and i've got the nose heavy ness out of the plane, added refuel tanks and reduced some of the ground wobble when taking off.

it also has a better turning radias now so it's not to much of a truck in the sky.

I've also got the cockpit moved to an SM file (thanks argon) so i can work on the cockpit in my spare time and release it without hurting online compatiblity.

Looking great! Huge improvement on the stock Lightning. Did you do the skin, or is that Casualty26ac's? I'm using his Boyington skin for the new Corsair...

P.S. I'll put the opening canopy on it if you want...

Razer,

thanks for your work on the P-38F. One question does this plane have modified FM? The F was a very different aircraft from the later series Lightnings, in particular the control surfaces were un-boosted and the engine HP much reduced.

no laptop, but i just been playing with it (and a few others) when i had some spare time.

I've just got done fixing up the FM so it now flys like an F. So to answer you question yard, yes it has FM changes.

I also added fuel tanks to it today so when fuel runs out of the right tank, the right engine shuts down. It will free wheel till you land or you feather that prop to lower drag.

Have you sent me this yet?

sorry spin, it's still being worked on to finish up the FM and DM tweaks. I can say you better get used to flying on one engine. you take to many hits and you'll loose fuel or the engine and then you're a single engine fighter. note: it doesn't do combat at all with one engine but you can fly it home it you try.

I would love to see the Bell P-39 Aircobra in the pack. I fly that plane at least once a day. Love it just love it.

The P-39 has also been seeing me a lot more and thanks to Argon it has the cockpit moved it it's own SM file so i can update the cockpit without hurting online compatibilty.

The P-39 has updated FM to fix the pivot point being infront of the cockpit (thanks pachy) and it no longer suffers from the heavy nose. It also has a better turn rate and so far the AI has no problems taking off or landing. It's also pretty deadly with the cannon.

I'm hoping to get it in the pack as soon as i fix a few things.
