hehe

This were going to be for a different project, but I'm not entirely happy with it and they need open testing before I can move on, so if anyone wants it, mail me or post here and I'll send it out, please let me know how testing goes with it.

Oh, btw, compaired to usual ground units, this ones quiet special

Known Bugs
FR hog (will be corrected soon)
Possible bug:
"May" cause game locks on exploding, this is why it needs more testing.

The coolest bit is the fact that once the thing is hit, you don't just get a black smear on the ground and no tank! You actually have the bits left behind!

This was to be the first of a whole family....I've already built a Panzer IV to the same pattern, just need to slap the lods together....

Believe me, ground attacks are so much better like this! Just watch out for the flying turret!

I have been fortunate to be one of the original testors for this and made up 8 missions with the various dive and fighter bombers in the game. I get the lockups more with the Stuka than any other plane, but for the most part she is beautiful. Nat and WTG really deserve a pat on the back for this one. Good job guys....can't wait to see what's next!!

Thanks guys

To save trouble I've uploaded it to my site aswell at the following url:
http://members.nbci.com/naturlich/T34-85.zip

oh, thought I should post this.. you can see it better here.. lol

It really needs testing and reports back though, if you do find that it locks you up, then please do me a favor, restart the same mission, go into slew mode or something and sit and watch the tanks get hit and see if you can tell which part is causing your lockup, I thought I'd tracked it down to damage code in the turret but it still locks Jeeves. By watching whats heppening you can see if it locks when a part explodes.

Believe me though, you don't know the half of it, if this code gets fixed (or if it's actualy ok)it has very big implecations with regards to effects, not only for ground units

in a word.. yes

This isn't a finished model, it needs testing so that I can find any bugs and perfect the code, so don't worry about FR if you're testing, and if you're not testing..

This is great!!! But I can't download it. Nat - it doesn't seem to be on your site, and the link above doesn't work. Is there someplace else I can download it?

Great work!

Thanks, I downloaded it, but I don't know what to do with it!
I placed the directory in my vehicles directory, but it doesn't show up in the mission editor. Then I made a mission with a ground object, and edited the mission file so that the ground object was called T34-85. That didn't work either. HELP!

extract the zip into the Media/Vehicles folder, this should place T34-85.sm and T34-85.ppf in the vehicles folder, and T34map into the Vehicles/textures folder.

The all you need to do is create a mission with it in, in the mission editor it's called "Russian T-34"

That should do it for you

Hey Helm.. sure you can use spoonmans loadouts offline (I wouldn't though), what they do is increase the killing power of the MG's making it much easier to shoot down aircraft. The loadouts are made for online play to try and work around the damage bug online, since offline every hit counts it wouldn't be a good idea to use them like that unless you're just looking for an arcade game

Thanks Helm
