I finished the updates to the model for snickers P-38L. Updates include the same as the P-38F, 3D superchargers, 3D tail, and new engines and updated textures.

When Snickers and his crew get done touching up the FM i'm sure everyone else will get to fly her.

if it's a really big deal i'll see how much trouble it would be to set the outside of the cockpit to as texture so it can be painted and not left grey.

Looks great Tony!

One thing that sticks out in my mind though are those scoops on the booms. The intakes are black (looks the way it should). The intakes on the engine fronts however are gray when I'd think they should be black or at least darker also. Just my .02

Hows the canopy set to the same color as the plane?

Pete, that's an easy fix if it's a problem. the rear intakes are factory i didn't redo them on this plane. (i did on an earlier version but went back to these since mine was to high in a poly count.

another thing is the engine intakes are 3D, the tail isn't.

Yes Rattlesnake a bad end indeed. I wish SDOE modeled multi engine out more realisticaly. You lose one at the wrong time and it's all over.

Thanks Tony!!!!!!!!! After a weekend of tests, the only thing I se wrong is an "interference" where the flaps are retracted (though this could be my video card...) In one of the first network dogfights (LAN) One of the 38s went down with both VStabs in place, the HStab gone....
YES!!! (it took more damage in the past to achive this...)

On to the FM tuning....

I have just read that also, If she had only knew that the Susquehanna river is not deep and even though it is about a mile wide, you can walk accross it. it is not more than 2-4 feet deep in harrisburg. it is that shallow that people who use small boats on it always have prop guards on them. The only time that river is deep is when there is a lot of rain and that is always the exception than the rule. I live in Harrisburg, thats how I know the river.
