I thought it might be time for a little marketing effort. For any of you following the thread I started a couple of weeks ago, you will know I've been busily painting away. I updated the graphics in a number of cockpits and put together a gunsight package to more accurately reflect the reticules used in many of the actual aircraft depicted in the game. These are not major updates but may interest those of you wanting a higher level of historical fidelity.And now for the main point of this post. I have been periodically producing paint schemes over the last 6 months but have not released these because I had planned to get my own site up and running. I may still do this in the future for IL-2 but for now my HTML skills are crap and I haven't the time to get them up to the standards I would want. However, recently I have got the painting bug again and created schemes at an alarming rate - I estimate I have approx. 50+ unreleased schemes (new, completely redone or major updates). As I am currently struck by an altruistic urge (yeah right  ), I thought there may be a few of you who would be interested in downloading this work. Therefore, in the near future, all these goodies will be available on a well know SDOE site. I'll post a few preview pics over the next few days to get you in the mood - watch this space. I have been experimenting with some new techniques and am very pleased with the results - I hope you like them. ------------------

Nice yard, i wouldn't mind setting up your own section at the hangar but i'm currently having problems getting them to send me my new login and PW so i can post the new site. I've emailed them and had the guys at Dogfighter mail them too..------------------

If you post the skins ANYWHERE, let me know, If you can send me the skins and a pic of the aircraft sporting them (two different views would work even better), I'll gladly create a Yardstick area under the skins section. I don't have the room to host the skins because of what I'm doing, but I can make a link that will download the files from whever you post them.Although the site is still being put together take a look and see what ypou think.

Just START your own web site at www.geocities.com they give u free 14mg of space and there page builder is sooo piss easy 2 use.(c`mon if i can make a site that works so can u ) the yahoo page builder does not envolve ANY HTML skills what so ever, its just drag and drop then type a bit and save it there u go all done.

this site needs to be re-done but it took me about a day to get it all running properly and after that i knew how to work the page builder.note: the links to screen shots and 2 other parts of my site are down cos i am re-doing the site and i am gone has a huge update inabout a week. ------------------

Very nice! Love the red and white 190, and that gunsight reticle makes a big difference.P.S. the fan on the 190 nose makes that look like a whole new plane! ------------------
