I installed Nation V2 last week and very very suprised!! Pilot speaking Japanese!! The sound and accent are almost perfect! I do not know who made this part(I need to read the read me..), I would like to say, Good Job-Yoku Yatta!!BTW, I think it is better to correct some sentense. Because, Japanese Military do(did) not use formal Japanese(Trust me, I was in JPN Army). If anyone want that information, let me know. I will send more information. Arigato IP: Logged |

well, same thing for the italian...it sounds silly sometimes, could I record the italian sounds for the next nations pack? I'm probably the only one who understand them, and I would really like to hear myself ingame!!!! li'l "noodles" bastard ------------------

The Japanese voices were done by Siggi. He's very shy and retiring and doesn't post around here much You can contact him at www.ilyushin2.net ------------------ www.luftwaffe.net IP: Logged |

Namba T - If you would be interested in helping out with Nations in a few months (once v3 is released) let me know. I have a long term development plan for Nations (No Blasius, not the Coconut Islands ) and I think you may be able to help us out a lot.Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! how comes gt speaks italian? His italian doesn't sound like a school learned one, it has a northern Italy accent... What just makes me smile (no offense of course gt ) is the enphasis, like the pilot is screaming at the wind... "Follow meeeeee!" "Attack! Attaaaack!" li'l b ------------------

Semmern, most of us don't understand Russian, Japanese, French, German, Italian or Australian but it doesn't mean we don't have great fun playing as one of them. Flying as a Norwegian would be just as much fun.IP: Logged |

No worries, I will explain in detail what I need from each of you when the time comes. In the meantime I have a lot of work to do in regards to Nv3, taking stock of where we are at and then releasing my development plan for Nv3 and the subsequent shift the Nations project will be taking. Starfire, do you mean the radio speches you hear in the mainscreens? You can add or replace the speeches easy: put your speaches into the Media\GUI\SOUNDS\RADIO folder (if you havn´t one, create it. The original speaches named Radio#01-07Rendsburger IP: Logged |

Vahnatai - I will be in touch re: your Russian.yea... you can add speeches, in fact I have a great one AGAS sent me ages ago that I have been sitting on, for ages. It was part of a bonus download that was to be released with Nv2 but that never happened for lack of time. I'm sounding like a broken record here, but trust me, after Nv3 there is going to be a major shift in the aim of the nations project, and this could be included. However, since the whole reason for having a project administration was to prevent file version overwrite problems (which we have accomplished remarkably well) that sort of bureaucracy isn't necessary for the lobby radio. ie: It can be done under the auspices of the nations project, but it doesn't have to be, whereas adding new nations does. I hope that makes as much sense to you as it does to me. Vahnatai, Namba-san and lilb - I will get in touch with you in a few weeks, so don't be surprised if you don't get an email from me for a little while here.
