Projects and Models

These have been released so someone can learn more about OP and plane making and so they can be finished.

P-47C Thunderbolt (Razorback version) http://www.fshangar.com/files/P47c.zip
Some cockpit changes have been made and the canopy still moves. things to be added is FM changes, cockpit area needs to be finished (area behind the pilot) and no cockpit frame on the front needs to be replace with more accurate version.

D3a2 Val (Mposis's plane) http://www.fshangar.com/files/d3a2.zip
I've mapped the outside canopys and added the engine, updated the nose and mapped the wheels. I also converted a CFS2 scheme to work in game and made all the canopys work on one key.

other stuff can be found in the readme.

B-25 Model http://www.fshangar.com/files/b25.zip
This is a model i did one day when i had nothing to do. It needs to be mapped and put in game then you can work on the rest of it.

P-39 Aircobra http://www.fshangar.com/files/P39withPit.zip
not much was done to this other then a small CoG fix and the cockpit move to it's own SM file (thanks Argon)

The B-26 and Ki-61 will not be released due to personal reasons so i have no idea when they will be ready.

I will continue to read the forum and stay active in the community (helping and Q&A) but I will not be actively working on planes or projects for SDOE after monday.

Damn Razer, your work is incredible.

I gather you don't believe these projects are ready for the planepack? (the Razorback, Val and even the P39 look like they could be).

Let me know, I saw the post in Tech talk on the a6m2, a6m5 and p38F - They will be updated/added.

no spin, i don't think they should be added to the pack.

P-47c is just a D model with high detail fuse changes and some canopy framing done, front cockpit is screwed and theres a hole behind the pilot.

P-39 cockpit isn't in the right spot and has no working dash

Val doesn't even have a panel just a tif with textures from others planes.

These are ment for people to finish though they don't meet my standards set to be included int he pack, they may meet someone elses.

I am wondering how much you were planning to represent texturally on the B25 model? (This isn't a pan on the model, just me asking how much I should use texturing as opposed to modelling to rep detail). Would the supercharger intakes be adequately represented or should I add them to the engine nacels? Also is it better to polygon birdcage the cockpit or use transparent texturing? I know from my limited work on the B29 that bird caging bu hand is such a pain..
