The fuelcell has a LOD that switches in when you view close up. Simply change the LOD switchin to .01 in OPS and you fixed the problem. IP: Logged |

Funny, I get the same thing. It just happened to be the 1st A/C that I flew from the WWI pack. Others worked OK, but I uninstalled shortly afterward. RB2 3D it ain't!

you don't have that texture. when you don't have a texture SDOe replaces it with the closes texture it can find. you've never played will the cockpit guages show up on your prop. ------------------ Tony "Razer" Martin "Making SDOE a dangerous Place, One plane at a time!" FS Hangar IP: Logged |

Razer, it is the LOD. The fuelcell isnt supposed to have a visible LOD. Plus the fuel cell wasnt mapped. IP: Logged |

oh , well it has a texture index so it's going to show a texture. Open OPs and hide the object. why is the fuel cell between the guns? ------------------ Tony "Razer" Martin "Making SDOE a dangerous Place, One plane at a time!" Sorry to hear it, Spectre. This bug was introduced when the FuelCell was added. It has been fixed for WWI PP2.0. If you installed the WWI PlanePack without trying the SE5A or the DVII, I'm truly sorry. I just installed Windows 2000, we've got a new version of OPS, and with Razer's help I have AC3D working on my Voodoo 5.
I should have plenty more free time, as soon as I move and get settled in. Question though, should I remove the FuelCell LOD entirely, or just change the switchin distance? Doesn't there need to be a LOD there in order for the fuel tank to take damage? Does changing the switchin distance affect this at all? Thanks! ------------------ -=TheReaper=- IP: Logged |

Dont delete the LOD. Just make it hidden or change the switchin distance to like .01 It needs a LOD to take damage.IP: Logged |

Well it's already hidden, so I don't know exactly what's up with that, but I will change the switchin distance. That's what I thought. Thanks, ArgonV!------------------ -=TheReaper=- IP: Logged |
