Rendsburger Pilot	posted 02-02- 04:52 AM Is anyone interested to get a harbour in the north east of the northern island (former malta!?). I can make one, if i use the shipyards wich comes with SDOE. If your answer is yes: how should it look like, a little bit of pearl harbour? Then i need a picture of the harbour area. (I played F/A 18 from graphsim a while ago. It can be found at http://members.nbci.com:80/naturlich/PTO.htm I had a hard time getting it trough my firewall at work, but got it via 56k @ home. I like it! Spanky the Mad Dog Pilot	posted 02-02- 05:37 PM A while back i thought someone released a totally new pac terrain, not a repaint not just water but a whole new thing. Guess i was wrong. BTW if your going to do that port you should get someone to repaint those couple tiles so you can put some roads on the land and some buildings and stuff. AND repaint the water in that area so the ships and docks arn't in the surf. Make it a deep blue port. IP: Logged

Diego Lozano Pilot	posted 02-02- 09:08 PM We were going to add a port to this map but, I think we just wanted to get it out there. I'm glad that this has inspired people to work on it. I dont want it remain in a static condition. Thats why I released the Ocean terrain which I know is incomplete. That was the whole idea. TailGunner needed it to add some islands to it. Anyone else is more than welcome to use these terrains any way that they'd like. Some things that I'd like to see added to the Pacific map: 1. PT boat berth in one of the harbors just off of the river mouth. 2. Harbor for big ships. Some things I'd like to see added to the Ocean map: 1. Iwo Jima 2. Tarawa 3. Guadalcanal 4. Oahu If you need any help in the texture dept., I'm ready to help. I still have the Supertifs in a layered Photoshop format. IP: Logged

When I'm done with it, I'll send you the retexured tifs with roads and reefs. The thing is you have to do this pretty quick. I'll be getting REALLY busy REALLY quick!
