Hi all,

I have been doing alot of add-ons since getting SDOE a couple of weeks ago. Recently
I have noticed a loss of textures on enemy aircraft. It looks bizarre seeing a pilot
behind a prop and an instrument panel! I have deleted my cache and seen it in all
theatres, including, as previously mentioned, add-ons. Anybody else see this on DX7.0a?

Sounds more like a lod switchout problem. What plane(s) is this happening to?

Raider,

Let's see...
F4U-4B, F4U-1D (hook cycles), F4U-1, F4F-4 causes CTD, P-47 cannot see out in F1 view,
P-80, A6M2 & 5. After this, I un-installed FS:SDOE including directory. HDD is de-frag
while I am here at work. Will try re-install , one-item at a time, until it recurs.

I think I just had too much of a hodge-podge of add-ons. Man, there are alot of `em! Now
that my work on the Balkans in Falcon4 has ended, I may try my hand in assisting here!

Thanks,

Sounds like you don't have appropriate textures for the planes in the right place. Do you have the planepack, or did you get these individually?

For example, if you got them from the Engine DM files they don't have textures and won't display properly unless you have the pack or appropriate texture files.

Spin,
I tried tossing downloaded skins into the appropriate directories to no avail.
I did an uninstall, defrag, reinstall then added PP6 & Nations 2.0. All are now "visible".
I will add items, one at a time, to see what caused this. I am starting with SDOP, as
this was the last item installed when this all started. I'll keep you all posted.

***UPDATE***

SDOP repaint of Africa does not seem to contribute to this error. I will try other
add-ons in the near future, but the B-17 patch is out, and I will be trying that out
for a while...
