The idea:
Use the B-17f as a starting point for creating a FW200 Condor

The Question:
Who uses 3D Studio Max?
That'shat I've got & I've got the unregistered AC3D (sorry but I just don't have 40 bucks right now)
I have never used any kind of program like this before, so I'm asking for any & all help with how to use it,like:
What do I have to do to import the B-17f into some thing like 3D Max or open plane?

Thanx for any help!

I just picked up a new book and it contains every german aircraft that was military from 1939 -1945.

this plane is in it and has a nice 3 view. It would need a whole new model since it really wouldn't look good changing the B-17 since they look nothing a like when side by side.

It would be a nice plane to add but lets get good at 2 engine bombers before we tackle a 4 engine one.

Though i'm looking forward to tails B-24

The hudson in Hip's other post would make a good first project. It's the insides that tax you! The bombers are no harder to do the big bits for, it's just the overall level of complexity!

There is a reason why no fresh big bombers have been built so far.....

Yep, easy to build the new model, easy to get it flying an all that, but hell, I aint good at interiors so I'm dead in the water when it comes to bombers... it does look cool though

I was just looking through a book and was amazed at how closely the Tupolev Tu-2 and the Pe-2 look alike....except for the nose.
Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless!
