Hello All,

I've started work on The Battle of the North Atlantic & I'd like to do like the DFC & incorperate skins & possibly other goodies into the download for a more "complete" mission pack add-on...

Of course I'll be making use of the Sea Hurricanes & Seafires (it wouldn't be the North Alantic Campaign with out'em!)

Now, here's what would be nice:

The Wellington Bomber
http://www.emmador.com/331_Wing/wimpy.htm
Isn't there a plane similar to this in SDOE that could be converted? http://www.buckdenpike.co.uk/wellington.htm

Also the Condor FW-200

http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/condor.html

http://www.ophetweb.nl/ww2w/ww2htmls/fockfw200.html

or how about his one:

The A-26 Hudson Bomber http://uboat.net/allies/aircraft/hudson.htm

Any of these would be a real plus for the NAC (north atlantic campaign)

I've got some new 3d tools that I am wanting to learn, so maybe somebody wants to teach me how to modify existing planes (& someday build'em from scratch)
I've also got Adobe Photoshop & I'm looking for some help in creating some skins...

Anybody Interested?

There is a Wellington already built. I have an alpha of it on my hard drive. I believe Whirlwind started it but never finished it and moved on. She needs to be mapped and the insides need doing. The model looks very nice tho. Maybe if you could locate him and ask if its ok that I send you the Wellington so you can work on it.

You really want a Wimpy Mk.Ic or .III as there were only about 400 (off the cuff, don't have the books handy) Mk.II Wimpy's made.

Blame it not getting looked at on the wife, getting out of the army, and R/C planes. I just bought some inspirational books while visiting my brother in Minnesota, inspirtaional enough to want to dig out some old projects. I bought 'Classic World War II Aircraft Cutaways' from Barnes and Nobels, a signal battleship book, a Ju88 on the Western Front book, and a weapons encyclopedia. I sure wish the woman had planned on going to japan way back in December so I wouldn't have spent an extra week dropping the cat off at the folks to be watched. 2 weeks wasted due to her trip.

I would need something to do while not looking for a new job.

Don't forget that the americans were also doing patrols up there. The P-38F was used as well as the P-39.

hip63, excellent idea for a mission pack! You might also think about using the Sea Mosquito (torpedo bomber) and AUI's fine cargo ship in your battles.

cheers mace
