I wasn't going to post this....but Diego convinced me.....he said I was teasing...Well, it's a Macchi update....
Been doing some work on it, but I have a problem.Thieves broke into my Harddrive and stole a vital plane component...
Obviousely, I couldn't fly it like that, so I had to adopt a more radical approach...
The 202 has been brought up to the same level...
For those who posted about the shape of the nose on the 205, there have been a few changes! I moved the prop a fraction lower, and emphasised the hump of the cowl...you can't really see that in the pics though!
Also, the propfast has been fixed, and is no longer the Spit one! I threw together the other just for the hell of it! Some bits have been re-mapped on the base 205 to remove some bad polys on the nose, and to seperate the radiator cowling. This means the model is skinned underneath, so the Mc200 conversion was easy. All can use the same skin! The 200 has a much sharper nose too! Did some more heavy poly trimming, and got the 205 down below the 1000 mark! This meant I could go to town on the 200 cowling and model all those lumps! All will get engines modelled as per my current 109 project, which Nat has tested for me. The cowl is part of that.
I just can't keep a secret....
