Ok try this: Go into Missions in SDOE and view all the terrains and campaigns in there. Then exit that section and go into the Training section. Do you get a CTD?? I do! I know why too.... This has something to do with Dover Night and Rhineland Winter. When I removed both of these terrains the CTD went away! So any clues?

Also Im getting some wierd loadout/mission problems. I open up a landing mission in the mission editor that uses the Rhineland terrain (Stock terrain). Well the upper most airfield AND the factory next to it are displaying the Hangar text for my Mistels and if you save the mission.. it corrupts it! (This only happens with certain Landing missions....) Now I went and checked the loadout.ppf files for the Mistel and all was found. I traced the problem down to the A36A loadout.ppf file! (After I discovered it wasnt the Mistels loadout.ppf files causing the problem, I deleted every plane before that. The MC205 was then next to cause the problem, I deleted that and the MC202 and then MC200 were causing the problem. I restored those and kept deleting aircraft. Well I got down to the A36a and deleted it and restored all other aircraft. Problem gone! I then restored the A36a and then replaced the A36as hangar text with the P-51B hangar text. Problem gone! So now I have to narrow it down some more...

Now some of you may say its the Game and not the addons. Well Ive reinstalled the game many times! And then added on one addon at a time to find the problem.

So... now what?

Hmmm... No answeres. Am I the only one with these problems? I found out that to get the CTD, you have to go view the Missions section of SDOE when the game first starts, and then when youve clicked down the list, click on cancel and then go directly to the Training section.

If you can track down the line in the A-36 loadout that is causing the problem, I would suggest changing it, testing it and then submitting the amended file to Spin for inclusion in the next planepack.

Yardstick... Ive tried tracking it down with no luck! It could be many loaduts causing this for all I konw... I dont think the loadout.ppf files like certain characters. Like ( ) in the text or " " These characters are used by the game engine...

If the worst comes to the worst, this is not much more than an annoying bug rather than a show stopper. I've had PP6 installed since day one and I hadn't stumbled across it.
