Basically, you have to have someplace to post the image on the internet. Once there, you can link to it in your message. There's no way to go directly to an image on your hard disk.

If you don't have a web site to upload them to, try www.photopoint.com ; it is free, and you can link to your photos/images.
I think like this:

They also have some services for a charge, like photo greeting cards and the like. But just putting your pics in albums is free ( so far! ).

Or otherwise, take the free web-space option. Not all will allow you to post pictures, but Geocities DOES!
