Where can I find this? I spent yesterday tweaking some skins that I downloaded for various aircraft. One of these was the Spit Vc (one of AGAS-5's textures). However I have searched high and low and don't seem to be able to track down a download site for this, the slowest mark of Spitfire (yes that Volkes filter created some serious drag - BTW is this reflected in the FM?)

No, the slowest mark of Spit must 'ave been the experimental Mk.V fitted with floats(!)

There's a link on my aircraft page to it. It's at Jedi's site (can't think of where that is right now). Click on the link in my signature to go to my site, then go to the Aircraft Development section.

and to
RAF Harkness

Now you can answer a question for me (please). I DL'd your 109 skin in your signature, but I can't remember where I got it from. Where's it posted?

If you can't find it, its "home" along with the Spit Mk VIII HF and Spit Vb LF is:

Webmasters feel free to put it on your own sites as desired...

Just to clarify.....

I don't have the Vc on my site....just a link for my skin which is at Werner's site (don't ask).

Yardy....if ya playing around with the skins...could ya 'dirty' them up a bit. In hind site, mine are a bit too factory fresh.

Have fun.

Thanks guys, I got it. I am also converting JT's cockpit to work with the Seafire and the Vc (as I did with the IX and Ia - really very easy). Although I have run into a problem positioning the pilot model in the Vc and when it's finished I will post these if anyone is interested.

AGAS-5, I only downloaded the one Vc texture, and have in fact dirted it up a bit and added some depth to it. It's still a little too clean, so I think I will add a bit more wear and send you a copy if you are interested. Unfortunately I forgot to save a copy of the layers I used, so it's not a simple conversion job for the others.

Check your email YS, sent ya the cockpit with the pilot in the right place Worked fine in the sim for me. The textures looked all wrong, but I'm assuming that's due to you re-ordering the ones in your model when you put in the new cockpit, since the textures for the cockpit get "absorbed" into the overall model.

If it doesn't work, send me the whole model and I'll get it repositioned.

Thanks Jedi, I just mailed you back. All I do is rename the file and then change the instrument references to the correct version of the Spit. I leave the textures referenced off the Spit Vb to save on texture usage. It works fine, many thanks.
