Ive installed the patch 1.05v into a "clean" fighter squadron install folder. After opening it up I get a Atocp.rtp file, a read me 1.05v file, and a patch dos file. I left click on the patch dos file and press enter after I see "Patch ver.4.11.........Could not find the Patch File 'Patch File.rtp' Then I recieve the "error 0006: cannot find patch file". I followed the instructions. Does this mean its working? I read the "read me file" it stated that you need to press shift E to start engines/ cntrl E to end engines. I only have to press E to start the engines which makes me believe the patch isnt working. What do you guys think. Tried to be as exact as possible.

I gather this was the CD patch. You may want to just install the 1.5 patch.

Check the version information for the SDOE.exe file (right click and properties). Alternatively, if you go to the Internet Multiplayer selection area, after you choose your server, two arenas appear for you to join. If they have a 1.5 after the name, then you should be ok. ie)Ace's Den 1.5

I think the readme mentions this error may occur, but I'm not sure.

E stills works as a toggle in the latest versions.
