Flak Cadet	posted 01-21- 09:09 PM I have been playing SDOE for some time now but this is the first time I posted a message here on this board. I am experiencing a problem in the game. The game freezes randomly, and I have to restart the computer. The problem occurs during flight, and can't be deterimed what caused it, it could happen on any plane on any terrain. The freeze most commonly happen when I switch views. Can anyone help? Thanks IP: Logged
Jerry Pilot	posted 01-21- 09:20 PM Could be a video card problem. Overheat or unable to handle all the textures. What are your system specs? Does it happen in some missions more than others? Does it ever happen in simple missions with only 2-3 planes, or Hanger or Training Missions? IP: Logged
Flak Cadet	posted 01-21- 09:44 PM I have a 700mhz Pentium III processer with 128mb of RAM and Direct 3D. No it does not happen in some missions more than others (at least I don't think so), it can happen anywhere no matter how complicated or simple the mission is, and you just don't know when it will strike next. It has happened during regular missions and training missions, but I don't recall hanger missions. I didn't have this problem until recently, though. IP: Logged
