Please check out the new webpage for the planepack. I'm trying to create a central resource for us to keep track of what is going on around SDOE, what needs work for the planepack, and what might go into it in the future.I also want to add polling to new and existing planes to generate user feedback on certain / all aircraft. Go to the site in my signature. ------------------ Spin Visit Spin's Planepack Site to learn more about planepack V6.0 and ongoing development of the planepack IP: Logged |

Spin,We need to get together via e-mail. I want to give you a link to a website I'm putting together, and we can avoid a lot of duplication of effort by crosslinking. It's about time we had an official Plane Pack site, and the site looks great. I already have someone that's going to be translating the pages to French, and I'm posting reqests for other people to help with other languages. Please e-mail me at swalkerdsl@americanisp.net so I can send you the URL ------------------ "Where'd he GO!?!?" thunk-thunk-thunk-zing-OUCH That answered my question IP: Logged |

Hey spin, good idea Anyway, I actualy post for a different reason, when you update pp6 could you also fix and add the 109e4? not sure whats wrong with it, but I do know that the canopy just doesn't show up, I've extracted pp6 and had a look and it seems ok, so I'm not sure whats going wrong with itIP: Logged |

Confusion setting in Nat, I'll have to check that.Oh by the way, I've added a poll at the site. It's a bit less sophisticated than some but now you can rate planes on a variety of items. Depending on feedback I'll incorporate ratings into the site (some kind of start system I think). So go ahead this is everyone's chance to anonymously make you opinions known. ------------------ Spin Visit Spin's Planepack Site to learn more about planepack V6.0 and ongoing development of the planepack IP: Logged |

Nat, I think you must have a bad install of the E-4. I've been using the version in the planepack for 6 months and had no problems. If you want to ensure that the canopy shows up, go to MPosis's site and download the 'gaint splash bug' fixed 109 pack: http://freehosting1.at.webjump.com/2a5e286ec/mo/models3d-webjump/109s.zip This is the one in PP6 but I would only install the Bf109E-4 canopy just so you don't get version conflicts if you fly on-line. ------------------ Yardstick painted this [This message has been edited by Yardstick (edited 01-22-2001).] IP: Logged |

Nat,The problem you are having is probably with my engine damage zip file. That is if you have downloaded it and intsalled it. Another player "Jerry" was have the same problem and he was able to correct it by reinstalling the original engine damage zip file and then the engine damage update/fix zip file for good measure. I hope this helpls. If not email me and we will figure this out together. PS. Oh yeah, Spin, great site. Thanks very much for all the work you have put into this new site.

No Condor, this is the PP 109e4, I extracted the par files and took a look, it all looks fine, but it just doesn't show up in missions or actually in the 109e4 SM file (although the reference is there) it's not hidding inside the fuse or anything, I tried moving it out into the open. I'll have a proper look and see if I can figure out the problem, but this only ever happens on the 109e4 and no other aircraft.~Nat~ IP: Logged |

Actually Spin, you need your own topic section here on the SDOE forums. It would be great to discuss the items on your website.Spoon IP: Logged |

Nat,I checked out the 109e4, I have the bare install of pp6.0 (no aircraft folder named right now) and I see no problem. It could be one of two things, one the texture cache is corrupted. Try rebuilding it. 2. Maybe you have a mod installed check your aircraft folder and remove anything related to the 109e4. ------------------ Spin Visit Spin's Planepack Site to learn more about planepack V6.0 and ongoing development of the planepack IP: Logged |
