Argon? Aladar? Sorry, not at home...

The Go 229 rocks. Any chance of renaming it to "Go 229B-0"? :-)

Anyway it seems to fly well and it looks fantastic. In one flight one of my wingmen got hit and the explosion was unbelievable, parts all over the place!

I'll have a more formal flying report when I get some more time. In the meantime the only thing I've noticed is that if the wing blows off, the controls still stay with the plane so you're flying around with an aileron but no wing. Other than that, so far so good.

Hey thanks!

Yeah I noticed that aileron thingy too. Also, if you fly high enough where the condensation trails begin, they are way out infront of the engines. That takes a 3d program to fix however... I will however fix that aileron problem you mentioned in time for the next plane pack patch. Also, Nat said he is doing a remap of the plane to fix a few mapping problems and Diego has done a wonderful night fighter skin and Aladar has made me a night fighter antenna array. Ive already added the antenna array in as a loadout option. The plane I based my info. on in fixing the Go 229 was the Go 229A-0. All you have to do is change the name in the loadout.ppf file. You dont even have to change the missions to reflect this. Its a 2 second fix.

Thanks again for you input.

Didn't notice that one.

I thought the Go used an internal dish antenna in the nose?

Really? Does that change the name in the pop-ups and such?

Geez, if that's all it is, I'll fix them all!

yes, open the loadout and see the area "name at the top" that will change the nam,e of the plane and alt V will now show this name.

But, now your loadout is different from everyone elses and your not compatible with them anymore.

Maury, yep just what Razer said. From the pics Ive seen, the Go 229 did not carry an internal radar array. Aladar modeled the one in a pic I showed him so I beleive it is correct if the pics Ive seen (And Diego has seen) are correct.

That's fine, we can change this for the next PP rev.

Geez, if I knew it was that easy I would have done it a long time ago!
