Similar happened to me and I think, it was related to the sound card failure induced unintentionally by silly me, trying to overclock my Celery PC which stupid action caused a major screw up of my PCI devices, hawk!I tried deleting the cache, it didn't help, the idle sound is gone. High revs engine sound is really nasty. Perhaps somebody knows which file to replace to fix it?

What do you mean by "corrupted?"What has changed on your system since they last worked? Do you have any IRQ conflicts? You might try reinstalling the .par files. There's no sound cache that can get corrupted. IP: Logged |
