Guys, ok, heres the deal, what happen after the last contest, we're all saying that we need multigen creator to build terrains.. that what do I come acroos but this from the Fighter Squadron.com Conetst Page:::MultiGen-Paradigm Inc. has committed to providing to each entrant, one two-month license of Creator. These licenses will be provided by MultiGen-Paradigm Inc. after the entrants have signed up for the contest. MultiGen-Paradigm Inc. has committed to providing the winners in each category one one-year license of Creator. These licenses will be provided by MultiGen-Paradigm Inc. after the judging is complete. MultiGen-Paradigm Inc. will have the royalty-free right to use the winning entries in promotional advertising. Who got these licenses???? We need this stuff guys! (or at the very least I do!) ------------------

i got the multigen CD with a small manual and the disk to "activate" the copy to work for 2 months. Since i used AC3D i never installed it. I wonder if it will still work since it was never installed...i don't know, but the CD and stuff is in the back bedroom on the floor.

Tony, you're really trying to make sure you stay on the top of my "best buddy" list ))I'm sure it will still work, it sounds like a time limited version, meaning the time starts from when you activate it! Now all we need to do is come to some arrangement over it  lol Do you know how many terrain models we could create in 2 months! Hell, with the right tool, which you have, Diego and I would go loopy, creating all the terrains we want as quick as we could before it ran out, all we need do is to make the models and map them, and sort out the rest of the terrain later... grrrrr we NEED it!!! ------------------

Michael released a plug-in for MultiGen that converted all the stuff you make in MG to SM formate for the game. you create the plane and all it's lods and then add the dofs and then just hit export and it builds the plane. I just really want to make terrains, especially Stalingrad ready for the release of the IL2.. terrains please.. more terrains.. we can build aircraft easy with other tools, but terrain.. very tedious and difficultIP: Logged |

now that really sucks.. I'm thinking I'll be going to Multigens website and applying for an evaluation copy which I believe they are willing to supply, and hell find out how muc out of pocket I would be if I actually bought it.. hope I can convince them I'm a deserving cause.. lolIP: Logged |

Personaly, I was not very impressed with Creator - but then again I did not use it allot. I did want to use the terrain tools, and I was very disapointed when they were not activated What we really need is our own dicer app that works with 3dsmax and AC3D. See the tech forum... ------------------
