Guys.. er.. Team

I'm starting a side project (side of the other jobs I got goin on, and the IL2) It's IL2 related though, and I'll need you're help if you got the time and are willing..

The help I need is this..

It's not right away, and it's not a rush, I've got things I need to do before I ned to call you guys in.. but I'd like to ask if you're up to it.

Diego.. this is a special one this time, if you want to help out, I'm going to need your texture as a template for what I'm going to build on it TG, you know why I need you.. lol, I need you to place a couple of airfields (3) and some towns for me.

Id be real glad if you guys can help out, this one is going to have a rather special feature that I think I can do without it being an FR killer

Talk to you soon guys

~Nat~

we got everything we need cept the terrain right! PE-2, Yak3, 109, and soon the Ju52 trying to break the cordon, and the IL2 pounding those poor bastards traped at Stalingrad, the tiger and the T34, we can easily reconstruct the last months of the 6th Army.. Jeeves... heh once we have the terrain...

And dont forget the He111, there weren't enough Ju52's so to keep up the flights they sacrificed the He111's and lost most of them in the process. The airfields were littered with abandoned aircraft of all types, anything that was not repairable was just pushed to the side alongside the runways, what about a plane wreak sm instead of a tree.sm ? There were very few trees and by that time they would have been cut down for firewood anyway so the swop would be credible

Got to be done!

Count me in Nat, I think this is a damn good thing to get done. Several people have been asking about making Tundra more useful, putting airfields in etc. This would give them what they want, along with somewhere good to fly that IL2!

When you get your engine DM sorted, why not add that to the PE2?

Been thinking about the engine DM stuff, and have tried something different on the 109!

Basically, I copied in your latest version of inline DM, but used 4 lots in a proper inverted V layout. Works a treat!

Next, I am cutting away the nose to reveal the actual model underneath. Yummy!

The engine model is a single entity, with invisible hit boxes to represent the cylinders. Oil pan sits underneath, with paired radiators under the wings. Fuel tanks are provided too. Not sure about the positioning of the tanks, so if anyone can advise me, I would be happy! At present, I got one in each wing root, and an aux tank behind the pilot.

This stuff is addictive!

I've seen the most perfect painting of this entire area in my local library but, if anyone comes across any others please post them or the link.
