Gt,
That sounds cool! When do you think this will be ready? The Go229 has a few tricks up its sleeve yet.

Snickers,
That might not take too long to do. Most of the hard work is done. Stay tuned.

Hey GT,
I'd like to help with mission writing, if you want a little help in that department.
Are you basing it on any historical battles or events ?
One quick idea is that you could use both dover at night & the normal dover terrians & do night time british bombing missions, as well as daylight american bombing missions.
Let me know if I can help...

I've got a Bf 110 night skin which I've debated putting up on RAF Harkness. If you need it before I get it posted there (December 29th at the earliest, I'm away Christmas week), just contact me.

As I understand it, one's first tour in Bomber Command consisted of 30 operations (The Hardest Victory: RAF Bomber Command in the Second World War by Denis Richards), so I think that 30 missions is the ideal length for such a campaign. A second tour was apparently 20 missions, but at some stages of the war, was "statistically almost a death sentence" according to the same source.

Thats the reason I'm planing 30 missions.

Yes..'a death sentence...' but even for the
first 30 missions the changes where 50:50 to
get at least home!

...that's why they called it 'the happy valley' ..sarcasticaly

Please feel free to raid my site for some of the Squadrons if you need them (Miscellaneous section, GUI Modifications). Of the Squadrons I have (4, 9, 22, 25, 41, 56, 57, 72, 74, 101 (Historical), 111, 617, 809RN, 824RN, 827RN, and 1834RN), I know that 9, 57, 101, and 617 (of course!) were in Bomber Command.

Also, if you need some help in this realm (Squadron.bmp and Insignia.bmp files), I'm willing to try and help out.

Finally, I know it's early for the Do17, but I've just posted a nightfighter scheme for it in my "Enemy" section, as I'm sure once it's finalized, the Do17Z, Do215, and Do217 will rapidly follow.
