I noticed that a damaged prop on all Spitfires are the same as the Seafires which clashes with the colours of camouflage. The tail gunner in the B-17G can fire and aim only one gun. He can only fire the other, not aim it and the sight dissappears also. Very strange! Did anyone notice theres a cow in the Barn at Royal Tonbridge? Probably in the others too. Also, this may be just my problem, but sometimes in a Spit if I pull too many G's the engine becomes feathered and shift-5 gets it working again. And the Mosquito is basically unable to accelerate in my game. Thanks Snake IP: Logged |

The Typhoons right side gear never retracts fully but I think thats is a long standing problem. The canopy on the Me109 is totally screwed up as someone else was saying recently and the huge splahes are back. I was hoping everyone else would post bugs they found in this thread as well. I dont know about you guys, but I kinda gave up on this game altogether. when ever I go outside my plane to look around, the view begins a never ending loop around my plane and will not let me exit. I have to shut down my computer to exit. also I keep getting my desktop flash onto my screen while I am inflight. it will do that whether I am online or offline, icq on or off.also I like to test the planes offline. how can I find out my tas? also can I find my altitude outside of using the altimiter? I have been flying PP6 on line and have no problems with the canopy or the splashes. I know this aircraft backwards as I helped build all the models. What exactly are you seeing? The Typhoon gear is an original problem and since the model looks nothing like a Typhoon, this would be very low on my list of work for the aircraft The panning problem is long standing and I suspect can only be fixed with a code revision. ------------------ Yardstick painted this [This message has been edited by Yardstick (edited 12-17-2000).] IP: Logged |

Yeah, Yard. The Tiffie really deserves better than looking like a crushed plastic model hanging on top of a flag pole. It's such a cool aircraft!IP: Logged |

Snake, I do recall MH saying that we shouldn't use par files because there is a problem where sometimes the game will miss read data from them, it sounds to me like this is what you're getting here, if that is the case, then it maybe be a fix for you to extract the parfiles and install the directory structure to see if that sorts the problem out, ofcourse this also means you need a lot of HD space.IP: Logged |

One thing I noticed was the canopy on the Jug will fall right off the plane is you attempt to open it. None of the other planes have this happen.Since I really got into SDOE right after PP6 was released, I'm not sure if this was a prior problem or not. Gambler IP: Logged |

Gambler, the canopy is supposed to fall off of the P-47 during high speed flight. At low speeds its does not fly off. This is realistic I feel. IP: Logged |

Snake,It's not likely the parfiles are not reading correctly. I haven't noticed the issues you're referring to w.r.t. the damaged prop textures for the spits. Maybe Tailslide knows what you are referring to. Nat, the pp6.0 parfiles have been thoroughly checked and are consistent with the source files used for it. If there are any files that appear incomplete (eg, hangar missions or descriptions) it is because the source file lacked the information. Not because bigmunger goofed anything up. The bug that caused the problems in pp5.3 seems to result if the filenames for an aircraft (such as the hangar and training missions for a certain plane) are not consistent in terms of upper and lower case text. I have noticed a green damaged prop texture in my game recently (it looks odd) but this seems to be due to a texture cache problem. I haven't tried to yet but, deleting and rebuilding the cache.tex files should fix it. IP: Logged |

The B17G was a stock plane as far as I know. I had a revision of the 17F which wasn't really pack-ready, and wasn't included. The problem described is, however, something I have come across before!I had it happen when I screwed the DOF's for the tail guns. The guns should both move and fire together, but if you lose the DOF on one, or if you mess up the part-tree so the guns are no-longer childs of the 'toy-gun' object, you can get problems. Mail me the SM and I'll gladly have a look at it! Don't think pp6 changed this, but it needs looking at, just to make sure! IP: Logged |

Spin, could you add the Ju188 to the update of Plane Pack 6.0, see this post for info on plane files and Royohboy's (the creator) comments. Cheers http://www.fightersquadron.com/ubb/Forum13/HTML/000293.html ------------------ IP: Logged |
