I've finished the release scheme and cranked out another scheme in only an hour. The second scheme wasn't planned but was a very big surprise when i got in game and saw how killer it looked (see first image). I've also finished the little details like hangar stuff (see last image). I've also added a completely new shadow and i'm in the middle of lining it up, when done it will look just like the shadows on the CD planes. After that, the only thing left to do is real missions then it's on to the cockpit and to add the finishing touches. This Plane is close! Few more weeks a work and there should be a great beta for the community to fly. Now, on to the new pics!

As you can see, this plane has gone from a cool plane that you might fly to a plane that everyone has to fly.

Enjoy!

I REALLY like that top pic! You should send that to Jug Head, to go with his publicity pics! Not only does it show a quality plane, but it looks really 'right' over that terrain. Shows both off to really good effect!

Hi Razor,
Wow! That Tony looks awesome! Any chance you might do a KI-100 Otsu? I'm sure you know it's essentially the same airframe with a radial engine. It'd be pretty cool compliment to the Hien.

I didn't plan on it, i most do planes that i like, but i never really liked the Ki-100. I still want to do the Ki-84, and seeing it show up in so many sims is getting on my nerves.

**Update**

I've finished up the metal scheme and completely redid the dark red scheme that i used when i first showed off the new model. All schemes will be released at the same time as the plane.

Enjoy!

Hey!!! Namba, I think you're the only Japanese guy here! Am I wrong ?
I remember the Free French Air Force flew a few of Ki-61 with french markings.
I have to paint some of them...
Bienvenue à bord Namba-san.

**Update 2**

Well, thanks to Pang, i have a good working FM on the plane now. I still don't know anything abut the FM but from what i've seen, the FM isn't that far off to begin with. The top speed at level flight could be a tad higher but we can't have it all.

Ok, I'm ready to send out Beta 9 for testing, i need 5 or 6 people to test and give me some feedback. 2nd and 3rd level LODs still haven't been added, but have been made (though level 2 needs to be updated) and damage stuff hasn't been added other then one wing and beta of condor's engine damage.

Arrowbase san,
You're right. I'm a Japnese/Retired Army(Ground Self Defence Force)Sergent/Pilot..
I'd like to say ,,This Sim is to real, except the characters of Single Engine Airplane(Torque, P-factor, Jyro effect....). I am using this Sim for the emergency operation practice and, FUN. BTW, I did know some HIEN were operated by Free French Force...How to get that? Very interesting.
And Did they fit to Hien's cockpit?

Namba san, I found the info in a french magazine (le Fana de l'Aviation -> October issue, I will try to find it again). I was really intrigated by the pictures I saw.

Just beautiful, Tony.
One Q: will the Hien also have the
classic prop along the transparent one?
Thumb up...

Looking great!!!!!!!!!

I found a site that had 3 pictures of different color schemes on the Tony.

There's a red & white (or silver hard to tell), a brown scheme, and a camo picture with different squadron markings from the one you have.

All were prints of planes flown by Japaneses pilots with their markings. Do you have these? IF not do you want me to send them to you?
