Hey everybody. I need some way cool screen shots of the new planes in combat. Shots with new terrain are desired too.

Dogfights, ground attack, ship attack, and cool stunts (like flying through a hanger) are welcome.

Unusual pictures like sitting in a flak gun or tank under attack will raise some eyebrows.

WWI guys, I need yours too.

OK I just sent you three but when I re-read your post I saw the "new" part. Oh well, they are nice anyway.
I have more if you like.

OK guys,

MigMan.com wants some screen shots of the new planes (new textured glass canopies would be nice too). He's ready to put up 4 pages on his website covering the updates. At the bottom of this message you'll see the specs I need for screenshots.

Combatsim is willing to let me write a FS revisited article.

I need LOTS of screenshots for these. I would like to have a couple hudred to pick from (if you think this is excessive, it's nothing compared to what professional photographers sort through for ONE good picture). I have a DSL connection, so don't worry about overloading my e-mail. Heck I downloaded Linux-Mandrake 7.2, 1.5GB in less than 8 hours.

It would be nice if the online guys could basically fly some sorties with the new planes and have one or two of the pilots act as "camera men".

I can join in if it's on Saturday evening US timezones. The idea is to setup some cool shots.

The way the media works is, the more information that appears in different areas, the larger the publication that becomes interested. So these small starts are cool. Once they are posted, I'll let the bigger sites and publications know (although combat sim has a LOT of visitors, I don't consider them small). We'll see if we can grow this to the point where a couple of game mags would be interested in putting the files on their CD. First we have to show enough interest has been generated.

MH and Parsoft- any thoughts on this? Any info on patches slated for SDOE from the R/C simulator project will give me an excuse to drop some info about it in several places.

I intend to write one section called "The Open Plane Phenomena". This will let me mention The RC simulator and Stormbirds.

Looks like I'm going to be busy.
------------------------------------------
Screenshot specs:
Texture details maxed.
800X600 or bigger
Jpeg value 85 or 15 depending on whether your software counts up or down. This value drops the file size measureably, but produces no artifacting.
Old planes are fine with a new skin and a new plane in the picture with them Ex: a Fw-190 and a Yak 3; Hurricane and some Stukas.

Mail them to swalker@americanisp.net

Thanks Guys.
Sam
