I modified the Flak37AA, FlakPanzer and Jap FlakPanzer to realistic levels. No longer will a single Flak unit spell doom for your bombers.

This is a beta release only, not for online play. I have submitted the fix to the Plane Pack folks for approval, and hopefully, with some luck, they will be included in the next release.

Click HERE to download. Install inside of Fighter Squadron/Media/Vehicles.

Do the ships have their own flak guns, or are they referencing the exisiting guns? can't check at work.

Either way, having Flak less deadly has got to be a good thing. If people feel it is then too weak, they can stick a couple more guns into a mission. What nugged me was getting my wings shot off by a single flak gun that was manned by an olympic marksman! Also, with the new damage modelling stuff going on, flak would still bring down planes, or at least leave smoking engines and tatty bodywork!

I think this should be included in future standards once a few more people get it downloaded and agreement is reached on a fair level flak power. Better too weak than too strong I think.

p.s. just took a closer look at those screenshots! Where did you get that skin for the Tiffie! I want it! Love those sharkmouth designs!

I think this is great. I've always wanted to have more flak in missions. This should increase the "immersion".

I look forward to testing this stuff.

I've been working on the ships for the past two days now.

Some of the AA guns on the ships carry a warhead size of 1!!! That's bigger than the cannons on the Typhoon by almost 50%.

I didn't know a simple AA machinegun had nuclear tipped ammo

I'll post the fix before Sunday.

the only stuff on my ships with a warhead like that should be flak, AA should be near correct values, if you've found this on mine please let me know which

That's only half the size of the warhead on the old he-100
